The Society is open to anyone interested in finding out more about Badham family history, including its surname variants. It was formed in 1999 and has approaching 50 members in the UK and overseas.
The Badham One Name Society (B1NS*) is an educative and research-based association devoted to the sharing of information and resources related to Badham history, and aims to:-
· promote the study of Badham heritage and genealogy
· emphasise family history in the context of historical events and locations
· encourage and publicise research into Badham history
· produce a regular newsletter for B1NS members
· promote the conservation of documents, literature, photographs, artefacts and historical sites linked to the Badham surname
B1NS is a member of the Federation of Family History Societies
